Yes, red light therapy is safe for animals, and treatments are well-tolerated by pets like dogs and cats. One of the biggest reasons so many vets use red light therapy is because it’s such a quick, simple, and safe treatment, with few if any major side effects. This is backed by peer-reviewed clinical research.

How does red light therapy work in pets?
Red light therapy works systemically by enhancing an animal’s core cellular energy-making processes. Mammals of all sizes need to take in food, water, and oxygen to produce energy and power their bodies.
